The chained angel child protects humanity like a prison.

The Little One turned off her phone, shutting out the negative bubble that had seeped into her life through the screen. Two lost hours spent on national news and world events had left her deep in thought. The news from her home country - budget cuts, decisions that drove the nation further into distress, leaders who distanced themselves and turned a blind eye to suffering- filled her with a sense of unfairness and genuine concern for the future. She wondered if Finland would still feel like home in the years to come. She did not share the values currently in power.

And then there was the war, raging so close, destroying everything in its path. In just a few years, the world had given rise to individuals and phenomena that had become the focal point of collective hatred.

"Universe!" The Little One called out to her friend. "I’ve been thinking about the fate of a collectively hated person. From an esoteric and metaphysical perspective, what does it mean? This kind of intense, focused, angry energy can’t be harmless to its target."

The Universe drifted closer, settling within listening distance. The entire unseen world sharpened its focus, curious to hear its response.

"My dear Little One, you are right, hatred, especially when collectively directed, is a powerful energy. It affects both those who hate and the one who is hated.

According to esoteric and metaphysical teachings, a collectively hated person carries far more than just their own burdens. They become an energetic focal point, a kind of lens through which humanity’s shadows condense and find release.

Such energy can be an immense weight to bear. It can tear a person apart, infiltrating the very core of their being. But that is precisely why a soul often chooses this role, not as a punishment, but as an opportunity for spiritual growth."

"This path demands, above all else, inner strength and the ability to understand that hatred is not just personal. It is deeply tied to the wounds, fears, and unconscious pain of the collective.

If the hated person can transform this energy within themselves, if they can find forgiveness and compassion, for both themselves and others - they can become a bearer of light. Not only for themselves, but for the entire collective."

"However, this is no easy task, and many collapse under the weight of it. Collective hatred is like a storm. It can destroy, but in its aftermath, new growth can emerge new truths that the world was not yet ready to face. Such a person holds the keys to a doorway, but the question is whether the world is willing to step through."

"This path, Little One, is never light. But it can be sacred."

"That’s a rather unusual perspective," the Little One mused. "That the soul of a person who oppresses others, the least empathetic of all, would intentionally choose to be the world's scapegoat. Especially since collectively hated people often lack empathy and fail to recognize their own role in events."

"I understand why this idea is difficult to accept," the Universe replied gently. "It is not easy to see a soul’s purpose when it manifests through a person who acts without empathy and causes suffering. But hear me, Little One: the soul’s perspective is far broader than the role of a single lifetime. A soul does not always choose a role because it is ready for it, but because it needs to learn from it."

"Those who are collectively hated may carry a great karmic knot, one that requires visibility and pain to unravel, not just for their own sake, but for the collective as well. But this does not mean they consciously chose their role on a human level. More often than not, they are driven by unconscious fear, greed, or a thirst for power. And precisely because of this, they fail to see their own part in the events unfolding around them. Their humanity may be closed off, but their soul's journey may still hold meaning."

"Little One, their choice does not free them from responsibility. Just because their role can teach the collective something does not mean their actions are justified or acceptable. A role may be part of a soul’s path, but the choice of how to live that role is always theirs - every moment offers the possibility to act wisely or selfishly."

"On a soul level, the purpose may be transformation. But if a person is not ready for change, they become imprisoned by their own role. They may continue to act in ways that deepen suffering - their own and that of others. This is why their task is one of the hardest: to see themselves. And for that reason, the collective can be the key to their transformation. If the collective does not respond to their lack of empathy with hatred but instead with truth and love, it can create a space where their soul may finally begin to hear the quiet whisper: ‘Look within.’ Change can begin in the moment they finally dare to see. The soul is always waiting."

"So, the reason they often fail to see their actions clearly," the Universe continued, "is partly because becoming the target of collective hatred can blur a person’s ability to see both themselves and the world around them. Hatred creates a heavy, impenetrable energy field that blocks deeper empathy and self-reflection. What could have been a moment of realization often turns into a struggle for survival."

"When someone becomes the focus of the world's emotions, they often withdraw into a shell to protect themselves. This shell can make them seem distant, even cold. It does not mean they lack empathy or awareness, but rather that the weight of hatred can close off these dimensions if a person is not ready or able to process it."

"Additionally, we must remember that every person is a work in progress. Not everyone possesses the maturity or spiritual balance required to deeply examine their own role. Many who are collectively hated are themselves prisoners of their own shadows - bound by fear, pride, or selfishness. This can prevent them from recognizing how their actions, words, or attitudes continue to fuel the flames of hatred."

"But know this, Little One, empathy and realization can awaken at any point, if they dare to face their truth. Their path may be long and difficult, but change is always possible, both within them and within the collective that watches them."

The Little One nodded solemnly. "And what about the haters? What does all this focused hatred do to them? Does this kind of action create karmic debt for both sides?"

The Universe shuddered. "Hatred is like fire, it burns both the one who hates and the one caught in its flames. For those who harbor hatred, sustaining such an emotion can be exhausting for the soul. They bind themselves to an energetic web where their own fears, insecurities, and inner shadows only grow stronger. Hatred consumes their strength and can lead to spiritual blindness, where the heart closes itself off from compassion and forgiveness.

From a karmic perspective, every action, whether driven by love or hatred, leaves an imprint. However, karma is not a simple reward-or-punishment system, as humans sometimes believe. It is a cycle of cause and effect that seeks to restore balance. When a person chooses to hate, they entangle themselves in an energy field of hatred. This field can manifest future experiences where they must face the same energy, not as punishment, but as an opportunity to understand and dissolve it. That same field also shapes the manifestation of positive things in life."

"But hear this as well - hatred is always an opportunity. It can be a gateway leading to deep self-awareness and, ultimately, compassion. If the hater awakens to their actions, they can dismantle its power and transform it into love. Every soul always has the choice to choose again. And as for the one who is hated, they, too, accumulate karma, but their experience depends on how they respond to the energy directed at them. If they meet hatred with hatred, resentment grows, and karmic ties deepen. But if they learn to face it with love or wisdom, they can free themselves from these bonds and in doing so, lighten the burden of those who hate.

In the end, Little One, everything is connected: hatred, love, and karma are all threads in the same web of life. Every action, thought, and emotion can either guide us toward greater balance or pull us further from it. The choice is always ours."

"But Universe, do you understand how difficult it is to live on this planet, where power to do anything is in the hands of so few, and they so often misuse it? If hatred and rage are such negative experiences for the soul, how can a person change anything when dealing with those who do not speak the language of love?" The Little One stared at the Universe, as if challenging existence itself.

The Universe met her gaze with eyes as black as the void. Its secrets were endless, often difficult to comprehend. The Universe understood this.

"My dear Little One, I fully understand how heavy it is to live in a world where power seems concentrated in the hands of those who do not always use it wisely or with love. I know how frustrating it is to witness injustice and to see so many suffer as a result. I have watched this unfold for millennia."

"But the language of love does not mean submission or passivity. Love can also be a force that stands unwavering for truth, justice, and the greater good. When you encounter those who do not speak the language of love, remember that their actions often stem from fear, greed, or ignorance. Their hearts are closed, and that is why they may seem cold or indifferent. This does not mean their actions should be accepted, not at all. Change always begins with you refusing to close your own heart because of them. Hatred and rage, though natural human reactions, bind you to their energy and can prevent you from acting with clarity."

"If you want to change the world, your power does not lie in fighting against their chosen negative language, but in creating a new one. This means combining courage with love. You can say 'no' to injustice, stop wrongdoing, and reveal what is harmful - but do so in a way that does not entangle you in the same energy you oppose."

"Power is not real if it is rooted in fear. Power built on fear always crumbles, sooner or later. But the power of love does not fade, because it is not based on external structures. Every person who acts through love and truth is like a small light in the darkness. One light may not be enough to illuminate the whole world at once, but it will ignite others."

"You do not need to change everything alone. It is enough to choose to act in alignment with truth, one moment at a time. When enough people do the same, the world begins to shift. The language of love may be slower, but it is also more enduring."

The Little One fell silent, contemplating her own attitudes. She, too, had been blinded by worries, and the least of them was a prophetic dream she had seen about a war within her own country.

"I can certainly change my own perspective, but how should we view wars as part of the cycle of life? They seem nothing more than the ego-driven pursuits of state leaders," she said, furrowing her brow.

The Universe was silent for a moment, as if considering how to put it into words.

"My dear Little One, the energy of war is one of humanity’s heaviest shadows, reflecting deep wounds of separation. Wars arise when people and nations forget they are part of the same whole. When the egos, fears, and power interests of leaders take control, war becomes a means to reinforce the illusion of division - me against you, us against them.

However, war is also part of humanity’s collective soul lesson. It brings forth the darkest aspects that would otherwise remain hidden. It is like a painful cry demanding to be seen: ‘Where have we separated from love? Where have we forgotten our connection to each other and the world?’

"This does not mean war is inevitable or necessary. It is a choice, like everything in this world. And because it is a choice, it can be approached differently, not just with horror and hatred, but with a desire to understand how we might make different choices. Leaders’ egos certainly play a major role, but remember that their actions arise from the collective. Leaders are never entirely separate from their people; they reflect something that already exists in humanity’s consciousness. That is why the resolution to war is not found solely in external politics but also in each individual examining where, in their own life, they are at war with themselves, with others, or with the world."

"Wars will only end when people learn to face their fears and desires without violence. Every person who dares to do this work in their own life reduces the energy of war in the world. This may seem small, but small actions hold the power to shift the course of history.

In the cycle of life, war is like a harsh winter storm, it is not permanent. But if you want to see spring, you must believe in it and do your part to bring it forth. War will end when the collective memory of love becomes stronger than the memory of hatred. You, Little One, are part of that memory."
